Sr. Flash Programmer & Designer

New Music Company seeks a talented Flash programmer & designer to play an integral role in development and expansion. Do you love music? Do you have programming and design experience with flash? We are a fresh and exciting start-up music company based in Sacramento, Ca who is focused and dedicated to the promotion and discovery of emerging music and musicians around the world. You are our ideal candidate if you have a sincere interest in music and would like to help emerging musicians obtain greater success through digital media and social networking. More importantly, you are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who works hard and has fun at the same time.

As a Flash programmer & designer, your key responsibilities will include: Working with our CTO to develop and design the core flash music player, music discovery station, and playlist creator, in addition to consistently suggesting and designing improvements/new features utilizing your knowledge of Flash and design.

Requirements

• Must be well versed in: Flash 8 or Flash 9, Flex SDK, ActionScript 3, Web Services, XML/HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and various design programs included in Adobe's CS2 / CS3 design suite.
• Must have a passion for and deep knowledge of music.
• Internet, social network, and web 2.0 / 3.0 savvy.
• Motivated, self-starter, with exceptional communication skills.
• Works well in a team environment, but also requires minimal direction.
• Is focused and dedicated to completing time sensitive projects.
• Is at least 18 years old; ideal for college students and recent college grads.
• Must have access to necessary programs to perform job functions from home.
